Roto Grip Gremlin Tour X Bowling Ball

The legend continues—but with a more refined footprint. The Roto Grip Gremlin TOUR-X is built for bowlers who demand professional-grade motion without the unpredictability that can come with higher-response pieces. When lane conditions tighten up and the original Gremlin starts to feel a little too quick, the TOUR-X steps in with control, predictability, and the ability to keep striking when precision matters most. Rather than simply toning things down, Roto Grip re-engineered the Gremlin’s DNA to create a motion better suited for competitive environments. The result is a ball that blends the lane beautifully, offering confidence through the front, stability at the breakpoint, and strong continuation through the pins. At the center of the TOUR-X is the Rondure™ TOUR-X Core, a refined version of the original Rondure™ MaxD design. By lowering both the RG and differential, this core creates a more stable and centered energy transfer that reduces overreaction and keeps the ball from jumping off the spot. This makes the TOUR-X especially effective on tougher patterns and transition-heavy blocks. Wrapped around the core is the proven V-R1™ Hybrid coverstock, delivering a true “middle ground” reaction. It provides enough traction to handle oil while remaining clean enough to clear the front part of the lane with ease. Finished with a smooth 4000-Abralon® surface, the TOUR-X reads the midlane predictably without sacrificing energy at the pocket. In today’s game, more hook isn’t always the answer—better hook is. With its medium flare potential and controlled shape, the Gremlin TOUR-X excels at blending wet and dry, smoothing out transitions, and keeping carry consistent across league nights and tournament play. If you loved the shape of the original Gremlin but want a more disciplined, tour-ready version that thrives when conditions get demanding, the Gremlin TOUR-X is built to be your next go-to.
