Rotala Nanjenshan is described as a hybrid cross between Rotala Rotundifolia and Rotala Wallichi. It features dense stems with very thin leaves that give it a bushy appearance. Rotala Nanjenshan can be difficult to keep as it requires quality aquarium lighting and CO2 injection to thrive. It is also fairly fragile and should only be planted in an aquarium with smaller docile fish species as overly active or aggressive swimmers have the potential to damage the aquatic plant. If successful in keeping this aquatic plant, Rotala Nanjenshan grows dense and will require regular pruning to keep it in tip-top shape. Common Name Rotala Nanjenshan Care Moderate Lighting Medium to High CO2 Recommended Suggested Placement Background Propagation Trim and plant stems Growth Rate Fast Height 5-10" Our bunched stem plants are all kept and grown in high-quality substrate by Marfied Controsoil. A strict fertilizer dosing regime and CO2 are provided in their holding tanks.
