The Rosseyanka Persimmon Tree is a powerhouse hybrid persimmon tree for deer and wildlife, combining the cold hardiness of American persimmon with the rich flavor of Asian Kaki persimmons. This proven Russian × American persimmon hybrid from Crimea is highly prized for its late-ripening, late-dropping fruit, making it one of the best late-season persimmon trees for hunting properties and wildlife orchards. Rosseyanka produces large, nearly seedless persimmons with a sweet, slightly tangy flavor and a smooth texture that appeals to both deer and people. As fruit begins to drop from late October through December, deer will consistently return to these trees, often causing bucks to pattern and guard this critical late-season food source. This makes Rosseyanka an elite deer attractant persimmon tree when natural forage is scarce. Professionally grafted for performance, Rosseyanka Persimmons deliver reliable production, strong vigor, and consistent fruit quality. The fruit offers a rich flavor profile that blends Asian persimmon sweetness with native American depth, making it excellent for fresh eating, drying, baking, and cooking. Persimmons are widely used in jellies, pies, puddings, drinks, curries, and traditional recipes worldwide. For landowners seeking a cold-hardy, late-dropping persimmon tree that holds deer on the property deep into the season, the Rosseyanka Grafted Persimmon is a top-tier choice—a Chestnut Hill favorite for late-season attraction, exceptional flavor, and long-term performance. Root-stock  is -Diospyros virginiana Rosseyanka persimmons will bear fruit in 2-3 years depending on the care and climate they receive. Cold hardy to USDA plant Zones 5b-8.
