Named after the Animas River just upstream from our home in Montrose, Colorado, this reel is built for anglers who need reliable performance in any water.  The Animas features a fully machined frame and spool with a structural profile, intricate porting, and a Colorado mountain silhouette. Its ultra-large, bell-shaped arbor allows for fast line pickup and reduced memory. The upgraded composite drag system delivers smooth, consistent stopping power in both fresh and saltwater.  A lightweight canvas phenolic handle offers solid grip when wet, and the low-profile, two-tone drag knob improves control. With a maintenance-free spool release and corrosion-resistant design, the Animas is built to perform and made to last.  Smaller sizes are ideal for your everyday trout setup, while larger sizes pair perfectly with your streamer rod.  Key Features: Time-tested open faced drag system Anodized aluminum drag knob for increased durability Bell-shaped, ultra-large arbor Intricately machined details Lightweight with increased strength for improved performance Maintenance-free spool release for easy handling Made in Montrose, Colorado
