Rosella Brussels Sprouts Cabbage - 100 Seeds - Purple egetable

Rosella is a variety of Brussels sprouts that features beautiful purple sprouts rather than the common green. Here are some features of this unique vegetable: 1. Appearance: Rosella Brussels sprouts are known for their vibrant, dark purple sprouts. Each sprout is about 1-2 inches in diameter and grows along the stem of the plant, just like other Brussels sprouts varieties. The leaves are large and green, similar to those of a cabbage plant. 2. Taste: These Brussels sprouts have a slightly sweeter flavor compared to the traditional green variety. Cooking can bring out this sweetness even further. 3. Growth: Like other Brussels sprouts, Rosella plants grow best in cooler weather and take a relatively long time to reach maturity compared to other vegetables (usually around 100-120 days from transplant). They need full sun and well-draining soil. 4. Use: Rosella Brussels sprouts can be used in any recipe that calls for regular Brussels sprouts. Their striking color can add visual interest to dishes. They can be roasted, boiled, steamed, or stir-fried. 5. Nutrition: Brussels sprouts, including the Rosella variety, are very nutritious. They're high in fiber and packed with vitamins C and K. The purple color of Rosella Brussels sprouts also indicates the presence of anthocyanins, a type of antioxidant. 6. Cultivation: Like other varieties, these Brussels sprouts need to be protected from pests like cabbage worms and aphids. Regular monitoring and appropriate treatment can help ensure a healthy harvest. Growing Rosella Brussels sprouts can be a fun and rewarding way to add some variety and color to your vegetable garden.
