Only a thunderbolt could cut into glass and other metals, thus the diamond became the Queen of the gems. Diamonds have been thought to offer access to divine energies, stimulating and opening all the chakras; they promote truth, vision, and alignment. Rose-cut Diamonds originated in the 16th Century, and are common to older antique jewelry. They feature a flat bottom and domed crown, with triangular cuts emanating from the center. To clean, soak in a sonic cleaner or wash gently with warm soapy water and an old toothbrush. Enjoy your treasure!
