Rose Pink Urchin

Rose Pink Urchin Add a splash of color and personality to your reef aquarium with the Rose Pink Urchin! This eye-catching echinoderm is not only beautiful with its vibrant pink coloration but also serves as a hardworking member of your clean-up crew. Rose Pink Urchins spend their days grazing on algae from live rock, glass, and other hard surfaces, helping to keep your aquarium clean and healthy. They are generally reef-safe and are a great addition to established reef aquariums with plenty of natural algae to graze. Like many urchins, they may carry small shells, coral rubble, or other loose items on their spines as camouflage—one of their most entertaining behaviors to watch. Care Level: Easy Temperament: Peaceful Reef Safe: Yes (may move unsecured frags and decorations) Diet: Algae, biofilm, and dried seaweed (nori) if natural algae is limited Adult Size: Up to 3–4 inches (including spines) Minimum Tank Size: 30 gallons AquaGemCorals Tip: Secure loose coral frags before adding an urchin to your aquarium. These busy grazers are surprisingly strong and may accidentally move unsecured corals while searching for algae.
