Rose Petal Elixir

This gently uplifting, sweet, and delicious elixir is handmade from Avena's Biodynamic® roses.* Botanical Name: Rosa rugosa. Part Used: Fresh petals. About Rose Petal Elixir: In the peace and magic of our aromatic rose gardens, buzzing with bees in the early morning light, the gardeners at Avena gently harvest large baskets of fragrant Rose Petals daily over a 2-week period each year. These vibrant and delicate petals are immediately placed in an organic glycerin and organic alcohol solution, where their soft pink color and medicinal properties are infused into this extraordinary elixir. Rose has uplifted the human spirit and inspired the human heart toward joy, inner peace, compassion, and love for a very long time. Avena's Rose Petal Elixir helps to relax the nervous system, comfort sadness and grief, and fill the heart with harmony, joy, and peace. These delicate flowers soothe and support the digestive system, nervous system, and heart. Roses are well-suited for most people in the modern world, and we look to them to cool emotional heat, to ease feelings of low self-esteem, impatience, or agitation associated with PMS and menopause, settle the spirit, and encourage peaceful sleep. Garden Notes: The lovely Rose garden at Avena's Biodynamic farm is a peaceful and magical place to work. The flowers are filled with buzzing bees, busy collecting sweet nectar and rolling around in the yellow pollen. It's such a joy to watch these special pollinators and to breathe in the fragrance of the flowers which dispel physical and mental weariness and uplift the spirit. Retreat and workshop visitors enjoy this meditative space to sit and soak in the stillness of the garden. Taste / Energetics: sweet, cooling, aromatic, opening, soothing, diffusive, moistening.
