Rose Cordial Syrup

This is the rose syrup that doesn't taste like a candle. We slow-brew whole dried rose buds, petals, and rose hips in stages so the syrup captures the flower at multiple points in its expression — bright, fragrant, slightly tart, with a soft sweetness that makes it work in places you wouldn't expect rose to fit. The flavor is unmistakable but never overpowering. It's the syrup behind a Rose Champagne Sparkler that ruins regular mimosas, an iced Matcha-Rose Latte that makes you slow down on a Tuesday morning, a Rose Mocha that turns a coffee into an experience, and a rose lemonade that tastes like spring. Stir it into clear spirits for a floral cocktail that feels deliberately made. Splash it into hot tea on a cold night. Tasting Notes: fragrant dried rose, soft rose hip tartness, gentle floral sweetness, clean lingering finish The Short Version: A multi-stage rose syrup made from whole dried rose buds, petals, and rose hips — versatile enough for cocktails, coffee, tea, and lemonades alike. A: Our syrups are shelf-stable for 24 months unopened. Once opened, refrigerate and enjoy within 6 months. Q: How strong is the rose flavor? A: Pleasantly assertive — you'll know it's rose, but it doesn't read as soap, perfume, or potpourri. Because we use whole dried rose buds, petals, and rose hips brewed in stages (rather than rose extract or oil), the flavor is rounded and nuanced, almost like a really well-steeped rose tea. Most people find a half-ounce in a 12-oz drink delivers clear rose character without overwhelming whatever else is in the glass. Q: What's the difference between Rose Cordial and Rose City Tonic? A: Different products built around the same flower for different purposes. Rose Cordial is a pure rose syrup — sweet, floral, versatile for cocktails, coffee, tea, and lemonades. Rose City Tonic is a tonic concentrate (with cinchona bark and quinine) where rose plays a softening role — designed specifically for gin and tonics and tonic-style drinks. If you want pure rose flavor, choose Rose Cordial. If you want a rose-tinged craft tonic for G&Ts, choose Rose City Tonic.
