More about Root Shoot Malting Olandsvete Wheat: Olandsvete Wheat (aka Oland Wheat) is a heritage grain that defies easy categorization as red or white. Is a spring-planted wheat, historically from the Swedish Island of Oland (where the Olander family was from way back when! Oland-er!) Oland wheat comes in with a higher protein content than regular malted white wheat. Currently, most white wheat is about 13% protein, and Root Shoots Olandsvete is 16%. Looking for per pound options?
