Before root beer became the sugary soda that it is today, it was an herbal elixir brewed for its detoxifying benefits and delicious taste. Our Root Brew Detox Tonic returns to this iconic beverage's roots (literally) and brings you this flavorful herbal blend that may help to purify your blood, detox your body, and promote healthy circulation. We’ve chosen 7 of the traditional ingredients and believe that our brew has more of the original flavors and actual benefits as opposed to what we now know as root beer soda. Taste a bit of history as you sip on this caffeine-free tonic originally produced by small farm owners as they tried to produce a healthy beverage concocted from the roots of the plants on their farms. Ingredients: sarsaparilla, sassafras bark, cinnamon, ginger root, honeybush, licorice root, schizandra berries. Tasting notes: sarsaparilla, slight spice, vanilla, cinnamon, sassafras.  Health notes: may help with blood purifying, detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, promote skin health, relieve nausea, stimulate circulation, promote glandular balance, ease symptoms of hangovers, promote liver health, and contains antioxidants. Brewing Guidelines Teapot/mug: 1 tablespoon of dry leaf per 8oz of water. 195°-205° water. Steep for 5 minutes. 8 minutes for each additional infusion.
