Roosterfish Fish Sock

Patrolling the shoreline for sardines and mullet the Roosterfish are always looking for a meal. Some anglers target these fish with a fly rod and when they hook up, lookout!!! These fish know how to fight. Such a beautiful specimen found in the warmer waters of the East Pacific from Baja California to Peru. Easy to identify with its "rooster comb", seven very long spines of the dorsal fin. This "Pro Series" Fish sock is printed from the Baja catch of Tackle Shop Owner Craig Newton. Ask Craig about fishing in Baja and his eyes will light up and the stories will start flowing. You can normally find Craig running his store Will Fish Tackle in Auburn California, getting customers ready for their next catch. If he's not there, he's probably fishin.
