RonZ Original Series Z-Hawk

The RonZ Z‑Hawk combines the classic appeal of an original-series bucktail with a soft-plastic tail, creating a hybrid lure that consistently draws strikes from both big offshore targets and fast inshore predators. Weighing 2.5 oz and rigged with an 8″ RonZ® soft plastic tail, it’s built to cast far, sink quickly, and swim enticingly on straight retrieves or gentle lifts. Anglers regularly rely on it for cobia, snook, striper, red drum, fluke, seabass—and offshore mahi mahi can't resist it either. Mix of Bucktail and Soft Tail for Dynamic Action This lure marries a bucktail with a matching soft plastic trailer to deliver both profile and movement. The soft tail enhances lifelike motion on the retrieve without compromising casting distance or hook-up reliability. The head includes RonZ’s Hydro‑Head design and comes fitted with a Mustad 8/0 hook to handle powerful runs and toothy fish. Saltwater Tough, Fish-Attracting Colors Available in four proven colors—Chartreuse, Pink, White, and Green—each Z‑Hawk comes with an exact matching soft plastic tail for consistent presentation. The vibrancy of these hues helps trigger aggressive strikes in both clear and stained water conditions. Optimized Weight and Profile At exactly 2.5 oz and roughly 9.5″ overall length (tail included), the Z‑Hawk balances casting distance and controlled sink speed. It allows anglers to cover water efficiently and maintain contact on the drop—a key advantage when fishing structure or current edges. Compact Power, Hook‑Ready Despite its slim profile, the Z‑Hawk offers serious hook potency. The integrated hurricane-strength Mustad 8/0 hook ensures clean penetration and secure hooksets, while the Hydro‑Head streamlines movement and reduces hang-ups when working weedlines or rocky reef zones. Fish It Anywhere From the surf flats to offshore reefs and nearshore structure, the Z‑Hawk is a go-anywhere, do-anything lure. Its combo of flash, flexibility, and simplicity makes it equally effective for tournament anglers stacking fish in deep channels or weekend freshwater saltwater combos chasing stripers and snook. Whether you're chasing cobia off the beach or stripers near pilings, the RonZ Z‑Hawk delivers knockdown reliability with fish-catching clarity.
