Ron Zacapa Centenario No. 23 Guatamalan Rum

"Zacapa tends to make rums on the sweeter and more luscious side; this is no exception. Look for a deep nut-brown hue and concentrated toffee aroma. The plush palate shows cocoa, dried dates and figs, and finishes with a hint of chocolate-covered cherry. What's in the bottle is a blend of rums aged for at least six years, blended via solera." Wine Enthusiast 93 Points 40% ABV, 750 ml "Experience the celebrations of life with the taste and quality that comes from Ron Zacapa 23 Rum. Our wonderfully complex, 80 proof rum is a generous and full-bodied spirit. The complex craft creates exciting intricacies with sweet honey and vanilla flavors that create a pleasantly astringent finish balanced with a spicy touch of cinnamon and ginger. Our rum is distilled from virgin sugar cane honey, not molasses and aged using an adapted Sistema Solera process that is truly a work of art. Ron Zacapa 23 Rum provides an elegantly smooth beverage with robust and complex flavors that are best enjoyed on its own. Simply pour over a large lump of pure, clear ice in a luxury rocks glass for a refreshing tasting drink. Our rum is masterfully crafted in Guatemala. Aged to perfection in the highlands of Quetzaltenango, where Zacapa Rum develops its complex flavor and character. Using a process of patience, richness, quality and master blending, rums of different ages and personalities are blended and matured in a series of casks previously used to store robust American whiskeys, delicate sherries and fine Pedro Ximénez wines. The final result is artisanal rums aged from 6 to 23 years, which create the exciting flavor intricacies that embody the culinary revolution in the spirits world today."
