Roman Soldiers at Ease

Roman Soldiers at Ease Model: ROM062 Scale: 1/30 Finish: Matte This finely detailed 1/30 scale two-figure set portrays a pair of Roman Legionaries in a rare moment of relaxation between duties. One soldier stands casually gesturing as he speaks, while his companion sits with spear in hand, listening as they discuss the day’s events—or perhaps quietly grumble about their Centurion. Clad in traditional Roman military attire with segmented armor, shields, and pila, these figures capture the everyday life of the professional Roman soldier beyond the battlefield. Such quieter moments were common within fortified camps and temporary marching encampments, where discipline remained strict but camaraderie thrived among the ranks. Finished in rich matte tones with carefully sculpted armor detail, weaponry, and natural ground work, this set adds depth and authenticity to Roman camp scenes, marching column displays, and Legion dioramas. A perfect complement to action poses and command figures within any Ancient Rome collection.
