Rolf Pulmino Optical

The Rolf Pulmino is an optical frame handcrafted in the Tyrolean Alps, Austria from natural oak wood. Each Rolf frame passes through at least 78 processes and features a patented screwless hinge, with no metal parts. Every pair is unique due to the natural grain of the material. Available at Visionary Optics' three NYC locations with same-day ZEISS prescription lenses, or online. The oak tree is rapid-growing, up to 35m high, with ferny-feathery leaves silver-haired on the underside. The valuable wood is suitable for furniture, veneers and parquet.
