ROG Ally Screen Protector – 3-Pack 9H Tempered Glass, HD Clear

Tournament-Grade Glass for Your ROG Ally Display The ASUS ROG Ally and ROG Ally X lives or dies by its 7.0 inch LCD screen, and that screen meets fingernails, jacket zippers, dock lips, and backpack grit every single day. This Gorilla Cases tempered-glass set shields it with an ultra-clear high-definition 9H layer that takes the scratches so your panel never does, keeping colors crisp and touch response instant from the first match to the thousandth. Cut Specifically for the ROG Ally This is not a generic sheet trimmed to fit. Every edge, sensor cutout, and rounded corner is mapped to the exact dimensions of the ASUS ROG Ally and ROG Ally X 7.0 inch display, so the glass sits flush inside the bezel with no lifted edges, no rainbowing, and full edge-to-edge coverage of the active touch area. Technical Specifications Compatibility: ASUS ROG Ally and ROG Ally X (7.0 inch LCD display) Material: 9H tempered glass, oleophobic anti-fingerprint top layer Hardness: 9H scratch resistance Thickness: Approximately 0.3 mm Edges: 2.5D rounded, full edge-to-edge coverage Pack contents: 3 protectors plus alcohol wipes, microfiber cloth, dust stickers, auto-alignment frame Finish: Ultra-clear, anti-fingerprint, bubble-free Touch: Full sensitivity, on-screen controls fully supported Built for the Way You Actually Play Handhelds get handled. They ride in bags, get passed between players, and sit face-down on tables between rounds. The ultra-clear high-definition surface resists the smudges and micro-scratches that build up from all of that, and the 9H hardness rating means keys, coins, and grit drag across the glass instead of your real screen. An oleophobic coating wipes clean in one pass so glare and fingerprints never get between you and the game. Everyday Scenarios Where It Earns Its Keep Picture the moments that actually threaten a ROG Ally: these are exactly what this glass is engineered to absorb. Commute and travel. Tossed in a bag next to keys and chargers, the glass takes the abrasion so the panel stays flawless. Couch and handheld marathons. Hours of sweaty-thumb play wipe clean thanks to the oleophobic, fingerprint-resistant top layer. Docking and undocking. Sliding the system in and out of a dock or stand can scrape the screen edge; the glass shields that contact. Sharing with friends and kids. Other people's fingernails and rings never reach your display. Outdoor and bright-room sessions. The optically clear glass keeps brightness and color intact so you can see the action. Installation & Use Guide Power down and wipe the screen with the included alcohol wipe, then the microfiber cloth, and lift away any dust with the dust-removal sticker. Drop the included auto-alignment frame onto the ROG Ally so the glass lands perfectly square. Peel the backing, set one edge down first, and let the glass fall flat — the adhesive pulls itself down with no pressing. Nudge any trapped air toward the nearest edge with the cloth; small bubbles vanish within 24 hours as the adhesive cures. Materials & Build Quality Gorilla Cases makes this set from genuine multi-layer tempered glass rated 9H on the pencil hardness scale — the same scale where a steel knife sits around 5H to 6H. The base is hardened float glass for impact resistance, topped with a silicone adhesive layer that bonds without bubbles and an oleophobic anti-fingerprint coating on the surface. At roughly 0.3 mm thick the glass stays sensitive enough for every tap, swipe, and on-screen control, while the rounded 2.5D edges feel smooth under your thumbs and resist chipping. How 9H Hardness Actually Protects Your Screen Hardness on the pencil scale measures resistance to scratching, and 9H is the top of that scale for consumer screen protectors. Everyday threats to a ROG Ally — sand and grit in a bag, the edge of a metal dock, a house key, a zipper pull — fall well below 9H, so they skate across the glass and leave the panel beneath untouched. Just as importantly, tempered glass fails gracefully: if it ever takes a hit hard enough to crack, it spiderwebs and holds together rather than shattering into sharp shards, absorbing the energy that would otherwise reach your actual display. That is the whole point of a sacrificial layer — the protector dies so the screen lives, and you simply swap in a spare. Clarity, Color, and Touch You Will Not Notice Optical clarity matters on a screen you stare at for hours. This glass has high light transmittance, so the ROG Ally panel looks just as bright, sharp, and color-accurate as it does bare. Touch response is engineered to feel native: at roughly 0.3 mm the glass registers every tap, swipe, and on-screen control instantly, with no dead zones at the edges and no lag. Within a day of installation most people forget the protector is even there — until the day it saves the screen. Why Choose Gorilla Cases Gorilla Cases focuses on one thing: protecting the gear other brands treat as an afterthought. Handheld gaming is booming, yet accessories for these systems are often rushed, poorly fitted, or rebadged from an older model. We design specifically for ROG Ally, test against its real dimensions, and stand behind every order with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. When you buy from us you also get fast, tracked shipping and responsive support through our store's contact page or by phone at 978-797-0223. We would rather earn a repeat customer than make a quick sale, and that philosophy shows up in the fit and finish of everything we send out. Care & Maintenance Keep the glass performing by wiping it every week or two with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth, and avoid abrasive powders or alcohol-heavy sprays that can dull a coating over time. If a layer ever collects too many micro-scratches or cracks from a hard hit, peel it off and apply one of the spares in the pack — that is exactly why we include multiples. Cared for this way, your ROG Ally screen stays factory-fresh for as long as you own it. What's in the Box 3-pack of 9H tempered-glass protectors cut for the ROG Ally, plus alcohol wipes, microfiber cloth, dust-removal stickers, and an auto-alignment frame. Frequently Asked Questions Is this made for the ROG Ally specifically? Yes. Each protector is cut for the exact dimensions of the ASUS ROG Ally and ROG Ally X 7.0 inch display and is not a generic, trimmed-to-fit sheet. What is the hardness rating? 9H on the pencil hardness scale, which resists scratching from keys, coins, and everyday grit. How thick is the glass? Approximately 0.3 mm, thin enough to keep full touch sensitivity while still absorbing impact. Will it affect touch response? No. The glass is engineered for full, instant touch and on-screen control response with no lag. Does it reduce screen brightness or clarity? No. The glass has high light transmittance, so brightness and color look the same as the bare panel. How many protectors come in the pack? This set includes 3. Is installation difficult? No. An auto-alignment frame drops the glass into place squarely, so even first-time installs come out straight and bubble-free in under a minute. What if I trap a bubble? Push it gently toward the nearest edge with the microfiber cloth. Tiny bubbles disappear on their own within 24 hours as the adhesive settles. Does it work with a case or grip? Yes. The protector sits within the bezel and stays compatible with cases, grips, and docks designed for the ROG Ally. Will it interfere with the kickstand or dock? No. The glass adds about 0.3 mm of height on the screen face only and does not block ports, the stand, or docking. Can I reuse a protector if I take it off? We do not recommend it. Once removed the adhesive weakens, so apply a fresh one from the pack instead. How do I clean it? Wipe with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh solvents and abrasive cleaners. What if it does not fit or arrives damaged? Contact us through our store's contact page or call 978-797-0223 within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you in full. Is it covered by a guarantee? Yes. Every Gorilla Cases product includes a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Does buying more than one make sense? Many players keep a spare on hand so a cracked or heavily scratched protector can be swapped in minutes without waiting on a new order. Should I buy a matte or a clear protector? Choose matte (anti-glare) if you play outdoors or under bright lights and want fewer reflections and fingerprints; choose clear if you want maximum sharpness and color. This listing is the ultra-clear version. Our Return Policy Every Gorilla Cases order is backed by a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If your item arrives damaged, does not fit, or you are simply not happy with it, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a replacement or full refund.
