Completely grown, processed and spun in the U.S., the Rodanthe group of yarns come in 6 weights. They are designed as perennial standards -- a good foundation for any line of hand-dyed yarns. Sibling to our Happy Valley yarns, our Rodanthe yarns are made with the non-Superwash Shaniko wool. Shaniko Wool is Merino/Rambouillet at 20.4 micron. It is completely traceable American branded wool. It is grown, sheared, scoured, and combed in the US. It has nice stitch definition and glides beautifully on hook/needle. It would be great for garments because it has excellent drape. Available by skein or 10 pack of skeins. Cones are approximately 2 KG and only available wholesale.
