Rocky PeakBlend

Rocky PeakBlend combines annual ryegrass, cereal rye, and hairy vetch into a cool season blend that delivers across most cover crop objectives at the highest levels. But like the Smoky, what sets the Rocky apart is where it thrives — in the shade. All three species carry good to excellent shade tolerance, making the Rocky the go-to choice for producers who aerial apply cover crops into standing corn fields. Getting a cover crop to survive and establish under a corn canopy is one of the real challenges of aerial application. The Rocky was built specifically to meet that challenge — giving you improved stand and growth even in low-light conditions. Note: Hairy vetch in this blend may be coated or uncoated based on availability.
