Don't let uncertainty overshadow your love for freshly brewed coffee – experience unparalleled assurance with your next coffee machine purchase. Dual Boiler Espresso Machine A dual boiler espresso machine is engineered with two distinct boilers: one for brewing espresso at the perfect temperature and another for generating steam to froth milk. Unlike single boiler machines that share one boiler for both tasks, dual boilers enable simultaneous brewing and steaming, ensuring consistent temperature and pressure for superior quality espresso beverages. Shot Timer Built In The presence of a shot timer on your espresso machine provides numerous benefits, particularly for individuals who enjoy making coffee at home. Consistency and precision are key factors in the extraction of espresso shots. By maintaining consistent timing with the help of a shot timer, you can ensure that each shot is extracted for the same duration, leading to a well-balanced and flavorful cup of coffee. Touch Screen Controller Attached to the left of the R58 is a new PID/touchscreen controller. From the touchscreen you can: Change Steam Boiler Temperature Change Brew Boiler Temperature Set the 7-day programmable timer, easily copy settings from day-to-day. Set the ECO mode to on/off (this feature is disabled if the 7-day programmable timer is enabled) Display shot timer Turn your steam boiler off if you’re not using it. Turn the machine on or off. Displays low water along with the shot timer, the green status light also flashes when the reservoir is removed or has low water. Change the water source the machine is pulling from. Plumbable Thanks to its dual boiler operation, you can either direct plumb it or use its large 2.5 liter water reservoir. There's no fear of running out of water with the latter, since the Rocket espresso machine is equipped both with low water sensors and an easy to lift top cover, so you can effortlessly check on and fill the water tank. ECO Functions The R58 by Rocket features an improved Economy (ECO) Mode. Easily prepare your machine for use by simply lifting a lever. Activating ECO Mode on the Appartamento is effortless, with a convenient on/off button located at the bottom front-right corner, near the brew lever. Once engaged, this mode automatically powers down your machine after 30 minutes of inactivity. PID Temperature Control PID, an abbreviation for Proportional-Integral-Derivative, is a feedback loop controller utilized in espresso machines to regulate and maintain the water temperature within the boiler. It means you can regulate the temperature on the machine. With PID controller espresso machines, you ensure that the water temperature remains constant and ideal for producing high-quality espresso. Cool Touch No-Burn Steam Wands With these revolutionary features, you can froth and steam milk without any concerns about getting burned. The cool touch technology ensures that the wand remains at a safe temperature, allowing you to focus on creating the perfect espresso drinks without any worries. Say goodbye to accidental burns and hello to a more enjoyable coffee-making process with our state-of-the-art espresso machine. Dual Manometers You'll find dual manometers on espresso machines for monitoring brew and steam pressure. The brew pressure gauge checks the resistance from the coffee grounds in the filter basket when the pump is running to ensure optimal extraction. Meanwhile, the steam pressure gauge on heat exchange or dual boiler machines shows the boiler's steam pressure for safety, usually rated at 2.0 bar for structural integrity. Superb Recovery Time Compared to other dual boiler espresso machines at the same price point, the R58 Cinquantotto is up to 33% times more powerful. Collectively, it is almost 11% larger than most in this range. So no matter the workload, you will always be able to steadily pull shots with minimal down time. The R58 Cinquantotto is an espresso makers dream machine and this stylish well-built classic would be perfect in any aficionados home, a small office or brew station. With the new 7 day timer, your machine will be up and running right when you need it, saving you time! Have questions or concerns about the Giotto Evoluzione R? Let us help.
