ROBIN WHITEMAN HERMIT H10.5" x D4.5" x W2.5"

ROBIN WHITEMAN Inspired by her relationship with animals, religious iconography, and childhood passions, as well as a long term relationship with clay, Robin wanted her work to be a source of quiet wonder and approach her studio work with a spiritual discipline.      She begins with an image that arises, and the work becomes like a discussion with whatever is becoming.  Small changes take place over time so she often has many sculptures going at once to allow them all to develop slowly.     hand sculpted grolleg porcelain clay
