Very scarce hardcover edition. First edition, 1992. 1/8" open tear or chip to top edge of back dust jacket. Very minor foxing to inside flaps of dust jacket. As-new book in very good jacket. Very good ++ overall. #48 book of the Hanuman series: the pocket-sized, handmade books sold in the Chelsea Hotel, NY in the late 80's and early 90's. Published and edited by Raymond Foye and Francesco Clemente. The book that revealed the making of Frank's film "C’est Vrai! One Hour" to be more controlled than the film appears. The film appears to be an improvised documentation of a walk through a few blocks in Manhattan in real time. However, it had a script and 27 actors. For example, Frank notes that a conversation heard in a diner is written by Mika Moses, but that Peter Orlovsky's lines, intercepted by Frank are 'total improvisation.' Linen-covered stiff boards & sewn binding. Illustrated dust-jacket. 2.75 x 4.2 inches
