Molded in white, transparent red and clear with chrome plated parts and soft black tires. (Paint and glue required, not included) The 1968 Corvette was dramatically redesigned with curvaceous lines inspired by Chevrolet’s Mako Shark II dream car. The ultimate ’68s were powered by the mighty L88 version of the legendary 427-cubic-inch big-block V-8. The race-ready mill was good for an estimated 500 horsepower and was installed under a specially designed high-rise hood not shared with lesser Corvettes. This carefully detailed Revell kit includes parts to build a factory-stock ’68 Corvette convertible with the L88 mill or a wild street machine with a blown-and-injected 427 V-8 poking through the hood, a pair of chrome side pipes, and custom wheels.
