Something that we find interesting about Tourmaline, is that it is piezoelectric, which means it generates electricity under pressure, and pyroelectric, generating electricity with heat. Black Tourmaline also know as Schorl, is one of the most common, and can be found in Sri Lanka, Brazil, Africa, USA, Australia, Afghanistan, Italy, Germany, and Madagascar.
