Rix Storm S6R 2-8x LRF Thermal Rifle Scope

Description  The RIX Storm S6R is a  thermal rifle scope designed with a built in laser range finder (LRF) for serious hunters and precision shooters who demand clarity, accuracy, and innovation in the field. Built around a high-performance 640×512 thermal sensor with NETD <20 mK, the S6R delivers exceptional image quality with reduced noise and enhanced detail—ensuring a clear view even in humid or challenging conditions. AI-Enhanced Clarity Powered by RIX’s advanced Resolution Enhanced Technology (RET), the S6R uses intelligent algorithms to boost visual definition and detail. Combined with a rich, high-contrast OLED display, the scope offers immersive thermal imagery, making it easier to detect and identify targets at various distances and in diverse environments. Smart Reticle Centering (RTC) The S6R features an innovative Reticle Tracking Correction (RTC) function that auto-adjusts your reticle closer to center after zeroing. This provides a more natural and comfortable field of view while helping you stay better focused on your target without unnecessary image offset. Integrated Compact LRF & Ballistics The S6R offers precise ranging up to 1,312 yards with ±1 meter accuracy with a tiny LRF on the right side of the scope. Paired with the RIX ballistic calculator app, the S6R enhances long-range shooting accuracy without adding bulk or complexity. Precision Picture-in-Picture (PIP) Unlike conventional systems, the S6R lets you independently adjust PIP magnification. This gives you a close-up view of your target without sacrificing peripheral awareness, improving accuracy while maintaining full situational control. Intuitive Controls Built for the Field The enlarged, four-way directional button layout is glove-friendly and directly mirrors the user interface—each button lights up its corresponding UI function, giving you fast and intuitive control in the dark or under pressure. This layout also makes the S6R just as practical for handheld scanning. Smart Zoom and Field Performance With a base magnification of 2× and optimized performance even at 3× digital zoom, the Storm S6R strikes a balance between clarity and field of view—ideal for both close encounters and medium-range shots. Quick-Swap Power System The S6R runs on a replaceable 18650 battery and features a unique 90-degree quick-detach battery cap, allowing for rapid battery changes with minimal disruption—perfect for long nights in the field.   Specs.  Resolution: 640 × 512 pixels Pixel Pitch: 12 µm  NETD (Thermal Sensitivity): < 20 mK  Frame Rate: 50 Hz  Objective Lens: 35 mm, F/1.0  Optical Zoom: 2× base magnification  Digital Zoom: 1× to 4×  Field of View: 12.5° (approx. 21.9 yards @ 100 yards)  Eye Relief: 48 mm  Diopter Adjustment: –5 to +5 D  Detection Range: Around 1,800 meters (1,968 yards)  Display Type: Full-color OLED Display Resolution: 1,024 × 768 pixels  Video/Photo Resolution: 1,024 × 768 pixels, output formats .mp4 (video) / .jpg (photo)  Built-in Memory: 32 GB storage  Wi-Fi Connectivity: 2.4 GHz—compatible with RIX+ mobile app for streaming and updates  Control System: Intuitive four-button UI—each mapped to a function and lights up when activated; buttons double as directional keys for zeroing (RTC support)  Battery Type: Removable 18650 lithium-ion (flat-top compatible)  Typical Runtime: Approximately 5 hours per battery  External Power: USB-C (5 V) for extended usage  Max Recoil Resistance: Rated for up to 1000 g / 6000 J  IP67 — fully dust- and waterproof  Operating Temperature: –4 °F to +122 °F  Weight: Approx. 1 lb   Dimensions: 5.3 × 2.7 × 2.2 inches  Mount Interface: Includes quick-detach Picatinny rail mount for easy installation
