Graphic stripes and large square patch pockets elevate a basic open-front cardigan with vintage appeal. Falling to mid-thigh length, Rivet is still light and lofty in Shelter. Slim set-in sleeves keep the shoulders tailored to balance the long, straight torso. The single-piece body and sleeves are worked flat and seamed, and the garter stitch collar and front bands are knit from stitches picked up after assembly. This cardigan is an opportunity to play with color; departing from the high-contrast neutral scheme of the sample could lend very different effects.
