In one body of work, I use veils, portals, figures, and curving forms to suggest transparency between visible and unseen worlds. In the mountain paintings, landscape itself becomes the threshold. The forms are more familiar, but the question remains the same: Can the visible world become transparent enough to reveal the deeper presence moving within it?
