River Rat Giclee Print

River rat is what you call someone who cannot stay off the water, and it is meant as a compliment. Dwyer Mason gives the title to a grizzly in a kayak, double-bladed paddle planted deep, dropping into whitewater with his eyes on the next line. The river explodes in cream, amber, and white, and almost nothing is outlined. It is the Sargent side of her work, all motion and confidence. It wants a den with a paddle already on the wall.
