River Fougère

DUA DESIGNER LINE Iconic fashion house Yves Saint Laurent shook the industry in 2003 when it chose to launch the men’s version of their women’s hit from the 1970’s entitled Rive Gauche. As an homage to the left side of the river Seine in Paris, Rive Gauche speaks to French culture and heritage. This landmark composition has been whittled away throughout the years as increasingly rigorous restrictions are imposed in the industry. The result is a fragrance that long-time owners of the original formulation find indistinguishable and attenuated. Fortune favors the detail oriented in this recent excursion that has challenged us to recreate the splendor and vigor of the vintage formulation from 2003. Our YSL Rive Gauche dupe is called River Fougére, and it is sure to rekindle the faith in the pleasure seekers who wish to not settle for a reformulated nightmare. Bright and natural lavender defines the identity of the fragrance while aromatic touches of rosemary add a distinguishing tone. An earthy base of vetiver and oakmoss captivates you with a presence that is much stronger and far more organic than current formulations. This is the scent of a true gentleman. Vintage formulations are selling online for close to $300. A fool and his money are soon parted, but an intellectual and his Dua are always rewarded! Own a piece of history today with River Fougére!
