River City Protocol

A president assassinated. A coup in motion. A war no one in power will admit they’re already fighting. Weeks after the attack on New York, with NATO paralyzed by Russia’s invasion of Finland, the President of Senegal is knifed to death at a summit built to keep the peace. That same night, Yelena Namdakov—one of the architects of the Black Fleet Crisis—walks out of a Swiss prison and vanishes. Shaw Carradine and Marcus “Bantam” Roberts land in Dakar to hunt down the president’s killers—and find a trail that leads to China, an African terrorist network, and a traitor inside Senegal’s own military. Half a world away, as Russian drones built on stolen Pendrake technology grind Finland’s defenses to dust, Dick Carradine leads a raid into the heart of enemy territory to destroy the code at its source. But not without a cost. Two crises. One task force. Not enough men for either. As both Badger teams scramble to put out the fires, the truth catches up with them: Yelena Namdakov hasn’t just vanished. She’s gone to ground for what’s coming next—and every incident so far has been staged to keep Badger looking the wrong way. Perfect for fans of Tom Clancy, Mark Greaney, and Jack Carr, River City Protocol trades one battlefield for three—a war of misdirection where the loudest threat is never the one that matters most. ___________________ Praise for Conor Bender and the Horizon War series: “A bold and original talent, Conor Bender is a storyteller who delivers!”—Andrews & Wilson, NYTimes Bestselling Authors of Insurgent “Conor Bender uses his Marine and logistics background to weave a pulse pounding tale that leaves you breathless and wanting more.”—George Wallace, author of the Hunter Killer series and the Cold Sea series “The reader [is] in the middle of the action, smelling the smoke, hearing the roar of the ordnance…don’t forget to duck!”—Don Keith, author of the Hunter Killer series “A gritty, hard-charging thriller that channels the spirit of Cold War Clancy and Bond.”—Jack Stewart, USA Today bestselling author of Tom Clancy Pressure Depth
