Rising Star 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

The simple outline of this 1930s Depression Era dress is dolled up with a few special details that make it charming enough for a child star. The dress is a basic knee-length a-line with short, delicately puffed sleeves. The dress opens all the way in the back and fastens with four buttons for easy dressing. The focal point is a pleated front insert finished on either side with a series of points that are secured to the dress with decorative buttons. As a finishing touch, the collar and sleeve cuffs are cut in points that echo the front detail.   This PDF sewing pattern, by Keepers Dolly Duds, is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
