The Riptide ALX Pitotless Waterway 1 7/8 inch is a precision component for fire pump flow testing systems, designed to measure water flow without a pitot tube. It integrates with Riptide ALX Diffusers to accurately assess pump performance.Features Designed for fire pump flow testing applications. Pitotless design simplifies flow measurement and reduces maintenance. Connects to a 2 1/2 inch firehose (via coupling, not included). Recommended Flow Rate Range: 455.1 – 1195.5 GPM Flow measurement accuracy is ISO 17025 traceable. Readings are accurate to within +/-1.25%. Construction Constructed from aluminum for durability and lighter weight. Finished in a black coating. Certifications UL Certified, unit EX29051, as fire pump flow testing equipment. Flow measurement accuracy specified by the manufacturer when installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. Note: Do not remove a Waterway from a Receiver while actively flowing water. The PITOTLESS ALX Diffuser comes with 1 7/8" Pitotless Waterways, this part is for replacing a damaged waterway.
