RIO Premier Gold XP

RIO Premier Gold XP Fly Line ½ SIZE HEAVY / EXTRA POWER Primary: Dry Dropper / Light Indicator Secondary: Small Dry / Big Dry / Light Streamer With a mid-length head and half-size heavy design, GOLD XP is the most versatile taper in the GOLD lineup. The added "extra power" relative to classic GOLD gives it the flexibility to cover the widest variety of techniques and casting distances, offering truly blended performance. Thanks to its medium-long rear taper and a balanced body for improved turnover of indicators and nymphs, GOLD XP is at home sending drys at distance, running heavier rigs though deeper pools and making quick shots from drift boats. GOLD XP is still perfectly capable of delivering precise presentations with delicacy, while its added weight makes the line fish and cast comfortably at shorter distances, typical of wading on smaller waters. Choose Gold XP for Extra Power + Extra Versatility.  Mid-length head and half-size heavy weight for carrying a long line comfortably, plus quickly loading rods at short distances Medium-long rear taper for maintaining line control at distance, both in the air and on the water while mending Balanced body blends upfront punch for turning over a range of rigs with enough rear power for short to mid-length shots Mid-length front taper for turning over heavier rigs on shorter leaders powerfully or tiny drys on longer leaders with finesse
