RIO Powerflex Wire Bite Tippet // Barracuda and Toothy Fish Tippet

RIO Powerflex Wire Bite Tippet Tough, Flexible, Nylon-Coated Wire That Is Super Easy To Tie A Knot With - Ideal For Sharp-Toothed Critters Like Pike, Musky, Barracuda And Bluefish.  This tippet is easier to work with, tie, and is more supple than most anglers expect it to be. If you are fairly comfortable with some basic knots, building your own leaders or tippets for big toothy fish has never been easier.   RIO's Powerflex Wire Bite Tippet is a tough, flexible nylon-coated wire that's perfect for those sharp toothed critters. This knot-table, braided wire is supple enough to tie directly to the fly. Available in three size options; 20lb, 30lb & 40lb, with 15 feet on each spool.  The Slim Beauty is a very good knot for attaching wire to heavier mono or fluorocarbon. Treat the wire as the thin white rope in the video.  If you like a simple loop to loop system that is better for a quick change, try this out. It's featured in our Barracuda 101 video.
