RIO Elite Integrated Trout Spey

RIO's Elite Integrated Trout Spey is an easy casting line on trout Spey rods and single handed rods. Think of the Elite Integrated Trout Spey as a mini Scandi that is easier to cast than traditional Scandi lines. This line works well with regular tapered leaders, as well as Airflo Polyleaders, or RIO VersiLeaders. The RIO Elite Integrated Trout Spey is really fun to cast and fish with soft hackles or small unweighted streamers. To setup your rig with the RIO Elite Integrated Trout Spey, you do not need a separate running line. Just connect this line to your backing and then add your sink-tip of choice.  We recommend using Airflo 10ft Trout Polyleaders.  To determine what size you need from the table below, use the "RIO's Line Size" column if you will be using a Spey rod.  Use the "Single Handed Line Size" column if you will be using a standard single-handed fly rod. Here is what RIO has to say about their Elite Integrated Trout Spey line The Elite Trout Spey line is a very easy casting, short head style line for anglers using light two-handed trout Spey rods, and regular single-handed fly rods (just check the grain weight to match). Each line is built on RIO's ultra-low stretch ConnectCore Plus for maximum sensitivity, and has a seamlessly integrated running line for ease of use.
