Rigel Systems wifi-Aline

Rigel Systems wifi-Aline: Advanced Wireless Collimation Tool for Telescopes Real-Time Wireless Video Streaming: Transmits live video of your Dobsonian or Newtonian telescope's optics directly to a tablet, phone, or computer, facilitating accurate collimation. No Additional Software Required: Utilizes existing web browsers like Safari, Edge, Firefox, or Chrome on your device, negating the need for extra apps or downloads. Powerful ESP32 Processor: The onboard ESP32 processor wirelessly serves webpages, allowing complete control of wifi-Aline functions and access to the real-time optical video stream. Precision Boresighting: Carefully aligned to ensure the image's center of rotation corresponds to the telescope's optical axis, aiding in precise collimation of secondary and primary mirrors to better than 0.02 degrees. Collimation Guidance System: Features superimposed coaxial target rings and a crosshair to assist in aligning with the primary mirror edge, guiding accurate collimation adjustments for secondary and other optical elements. Enhanced Optical Delineation: An ultra-bright micro-prism retro-reflector encircles the camera lens, illuminated by light from the primary mirror, to clearly mark the centerline of the optics. Adjustable Focus: Allows for simple focus adjustments by screwing the lens in or out, providing flexibility in achieving sharp and clear images for collimation. Complete Control and Viewing: Offers full control over collimation adjustments and a clear view of the telescope's optical elements through your preferred device, streamlining the collimation process.
