Ridgeline Sampler

Six distinctive teas with greater depth and complexity, with an illustrated brochure providing brewing instructions and descriptions, in a reusable cotton pouch. For those ready to take the next step on their Pu-erh tea journey, this sampler opens the door wide. These teas take familiar Pu-erh experiences and add complex flavors, captivating aromas, and the nuances of "cha qi" - tea energy and body-feel. This sampler is a great way to cultivate appreciation for quality Pu-erh teas. The sampler consists of: Bana Limited Edition 2008 Raw Pu-erh - the original tea cake pressed to commemorate the founding of Bana Tea Company, now almost 20 years old. 18 Qing Bing 2018 Raw Pu-erh - from Tea Master Vesper Chan, to honor the legacy of the dry storage technique he pioneered in 1988. A great tea for experiencing cooling "gan". Forest Magic 2026 Raw Pu-erh - a nutty flavor yields to lingering sweetness in this Bana signature tea from Nannuo Mountain. Ginseng Scent 2005 Ripe Pu-erh - this is not a scented tea, but a tea that naturally carries the aroma of Chinese herbal medicine. This is a trait common in well aged ripe Pu-erh, as compared to the more familiar earthiness of younger tea. Elephant Hill 2019 Ripe Pu-erh - a full-bodied and full-flavored Pu-erh experience, from the famed Bulang tea region of Yunnan. Simple Pleasures 2012 Ripe Pu-erh - fermented tea from Lao Man'E village, made from ancient tea trees. Look for it's cooling sensation (gan) and calming energy (cha qi). Each sample contains 8 grams (.28 oz) of tea leaves broken from our cakes and bricks. High quality Pu-erh tea leaves can be brewed over and over again without loosing flavor. Follow the brewing guidelines for each tea to brew without bitterness.
