Ride - Shadowban 2027 Snowboard

The Shadowban was designed for versatility. The Standard Camber profile and Carbon Array 3™ assures that you’ll have pop when you need it without adding stiffness. A Sintered, Stone Ground base sucks up wax to keep you mobbing all winter. This directional twin is a twin shape with a slightly set back reference stance for maximum versatility. The Shadowban is built to be comfortable anywhere on the mountain from the peak to the park. If you’ve been searching for one board to do everything with no compromises, your search is over. Size 147, 151, 154, 155W, 157, 160W, 161, 164W Ability Beginner, Intermediate Response Mellow Specialty All Mountain, Park Available In Wide Yes Construction: CAMBER PROFILE Standard Camber Profile Slight traditional camber zone translating to a more responsive feel while not being overpowering. SHAPE Directional Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not. Twin Great for going both directions, same shape on the nose and tail of the board. Great for park riding, going switch, or just looking nice. SIDECUT Quadratic Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style. SIDEWALL Slimewalls® RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls™ are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls™ smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding. Roll-In Construction Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight. LAMINATES Double Impact Plates Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double. Carbon Array™ 3 This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in two levels of technology, 3 & 5. FIBERGLASS Pre-Cured Glass USA-made pre-cured fiberglass optimizes glass to resin ratios to create the most consistent flex pattern possible. No other glass provides this level of stability and control. Core Performance™ High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light. BASE MATERIAL Sintered 4000 Base High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded. Stone Ground The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop. EDGES Standard Durable Urethane topsheet material with graphics only RIDE can bring you. SUSTAINABILITY Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable. 30% Recycled Steel Edges Everyone knows about recycling, but nobody thinks about it when it comes to snowboard edges. Hell, do people even think about their snowboard edges? Luckily for you we’re thinking of both. Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. That means part of your snowboard could be made out of a car, an airplane, a building, who knows. Anything steel and recycled could turn into a snowboard edge. FSC® Certified Paper Packaging What does this mean for snowboard packaging? Well how about those stickers on the base that are a pain in the ass to peel off? Yup, made with FSC® Certified Materials. Boxes the boards are shipped in? Also FCS® Certified. 44% Solar Production Energy 44% and rising! We’re working with our factories to utilize solar energy when producing RIDE products. We’re currently at using 44% sustainable solar energy, with plans in the works to grow that number in the coming years.
