Rico Divan Left

The Ferm Living Rico Divan Left is that perfect piece when you want something more versatile than a regular sofa but don't want to commit to a full sectional configuration. As a made-to-order piece, you get to choose from their complete fabric collection including luxurious faded velvet, soft bouclé, and other premium options that completely transform the character of this already stunning piece. What makes this divan special is how it seamlessly blends the functions of a daybed, settee, and chaise lounge into one flowing design, with the extended section curving to the left to create this inviting spot for reading, napping, or just stretching out after long days. The sculptural curves aren't just beautiful to look at - they actually guide your body into more relaxed positions, whether you're sitting upright for conversations or lounging horizontally with a book. At 190cm long and 81.5cm deep, it provides substantial lounging space without overwhelming most living rooms, and the 79cm height keeps it feeling approachable rather than imposing. The construction quality shows in every detail - molded foam backrest with inner steel structure that supports your body whether you're sitting or lying down, plus PU foam seating with wooden frame that maintains its shape through years of daily use. The left-hand orientation works beautifully in most room layouts, letting you face into the space while lounging, and the low-density polyethylene feet are cleverly hidden by upholstery that extends nearly to the floor. What's practical is how it works for so many different situations - morning coffee and newspapers, afternoon work calls when you need to think horizontally, evening relaxation, or even overnight guests who prefer something softer than a pull-out couch. Ferm Living approaches statement furniture from Copenhagen with that Danish understanding that beautiful pieces should enhance how you actually live rather than just looking impressive in photos. They recognize that modern homes need furniture flexible enough to handle everything from solo relaxation to casual entertaining, and the Rico Divan Left reflects this philosophy perfectly. Since founder Trine Andersen started the company believing that design should be both functional and beautiful, every piece in the Rico collection carries forward that commitment to creating furniture that feels as good as it looks. Through their partnership with skilled Italian craftspeople and focus on premium materials, they create pieces that become integral parts of how you use your space rather than just something that fills it.
