Richmar TheraTouch DX2 Mono Drum The Richmar TheraTouch DX2 Mono Drum is an inductive coil applicator designed for use with the Richmar TheraTouch DX2 shortwave diathermy system. This 14 cm monode drum electrode attaches to the device’s mechanical arm and delivers shortwave diathermy energy to targeted treatment areas during therapy sessions. Shortwave diathermy is a therapeutic modality used in physical therapy, sports medicine, and rehabilitation clinics to deliver electromagnetic energy that produces deep tissue heating within muscles and soft tissues. This deep heating effect is commonly used to support treatment of conditions such as muscle spasms, joint stiffness, inflammation, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
