Rich Solar 130W Slim 12V Solar Panel Kit, Off-Grid Mono

Rich Solar 130W Slim Solar Panel & Complete Off-Grid Van Kits When you're configuring an off-grid electrical setup for a camper van, overland rig, compact trailer, or marine vessel, square footage on your roof is premium real estate. Standard solar panels are often too wide to fit alongside roof vents, ladders, or rack systems. The Rich Solar 130W Slim Solar Panel (Model: RS-M130SL) solves this spatial constraint entirely. Measuring just 15.7 inches wide, this high-efficiency 12V monocrystalline panel fits where traditional panels can't, without forcing you to sacrifice wattage or energy output. Whether you need a single replacement panel to expand your existing array or a complete, plug-and-play generation setup, we offer this industry-leading hardware in two tailored configurations: the Standalone 130W Slim Panel (available in classic Silver or premium Onyx Black) or the all-inclusive Rich Solar 130W Slim Van Kit. Configuration Options Available: Standalone Panel (RS-M130SL): Includes one 130W Slim Panel with pre-attached 3-foot quick-connect MC4 leads. Ideal for custom systems or expanding current arrays. Choose between standard Silver or the ultra-sleek Onyx Black finish. Complete 130W Slim Kit (RS-K130SL): A comprehensive, pre-engineered system featuring the 130W Slim Panel, a premium Bravo 30A MPPT Charge Controller, industry-grade 10AWG cabling, inline fuses, and mounting hardware. --- Complete 130W Slim Kit Component Breakdown Opting for the complete Rich Solar 130W Slim Kit takes the guesswork out of system compatibility. Built-in bypass diodes inside the IP67-rated waterproof junction box keep the rest of the panel active if partial shade covers a portion of your roof layout. Resilient Structural Build: Faced with high-transmission, anti-reflective (AR) coated 3.2mm tempered glass and wrapped in an anodized aluminum alloy frame. Certified to survive intense outdoor environments, sustaining up to a 2400 Pa wind load, a 5400 Pa extreme snow load, and impact from 35mm hail stones moving at speeds up to 97 km/h. Safe & Reliable Infrastructure: Each module undergoes over 30 in-house validation checks (UV, thermal cycling, humidity freeze tests) and features double EL inspections to verify a complete absence of power-robbing microcracks. --- Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) What are the main layout benefits of a "Slim" solar panel configuration? A slim solar panel like the RS-M130SL is specifically designed with a narrow width profile (just 15.7 to 15.8 inches wide). This form factor allows off-grid users to mount high-efficiency solar arrays on restricted surface areas, such as the edge of van roofs next to skylights, conversion camper configurations, or boat rails, where wider standard solar panels cannot structurally sit. Does the complete 130W Slim Kit support Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries? Yes. The included Bravo 30A MPPT charge controller features multi-stage programmable algorithm profiles compatible with standard sealed lead-acid, AGM, Gel, and modern Lithium-iron-phosphate (LiFePO4) deep-cycle batteries. Can I add more panels to the 130W Slim Kit in the future? Absolutely. The Bravo 30-Amp MPPT controller included in the complete kit has ample headroom. A 30A controller can comfortably manage up to 400W of solar panel inputs on a standard 12V battery system, allowing you to easily wire up to two additional standalone RS-M130SL slim panels in parallel or series down the road. Do I need an inverter with this solar kit? This kit naturally charges your battery bank using 12V direct current (DC). If you only plan to run native 12V electronics (such as USB chargers, exhaust fans, or 12V refrigeration), you do not need an inverter. However, if you plan to plug in standard household appliances that run on 110V/120V alternating current (AC), like coffee makers, laptops, or microwaves, you will need to add a compatible power inverter between your battery bank and your appliances.
