The panel frame includes pre-drilled holes engineered for structural compatibility with standard ground mounts, flat surface Z-brackets, pole mounts, and adjustable tilt mounts. The system supports direct plug-and-play wiring sequences, allowing you to establish a secure link between your panel, charge controller, and deep-cycle battery in minutes. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) What can a 100W solar kit power? A RICH SOLAR 100W kit typically generates around 400 to 500 watt-hours (Wh) of power per day under optimal sunlight. This is ideal for maintaining deep-cycle batteries, running LED lighting, powering exhaust fans, recharging smartphones or laptops, and running small 12V electronics in your camper, garage, or boat. What is the benefit of an MPPT controller over a PWM controller? MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) controllers are up to 30% more efficient than standard PWM controllers. They actively monitor and adjust voltage and current levels to harvest the absolute maximum power possible from your solar panel, which is especially critical during overcast days or colder weather conditions. How many additional panels can I add to this 20A MPPT controller? The included 20A MPPT charge controller can manage up to 300W of total solar input on a standard 12V battery system. This means you can easily expand your setup down the road by adding two more RICH SOLAR 100W panels in parallel or series without needing to upgrade your controller. Does this kit come with everything required for full operation? Yes, this kit contains the core components: the solar panel, charge controller, standard flat Z-bracket hardware, inline safety fuses, and the heavy-duty 10AWG cables needed to bridge the panel to the controller and the controller to your battery. You will only need to supply the 12V or 24V deep-cycle battery bank itself. Is this 100W solar panel waterproof and weatherproof? Absolutely. The RICH SOLAR 100W solar panel features a heavy-duty anodized aluminum frame, anti-reflective tempered glass, and an IP67-rated waterproof junction box. It is fully engineered to withstand harsh outdoor marine, RV, and overlanding environments, including heavy rain, snow loads, and high winds.
