Rice Flour Beetle Larvae

Rice Flour Beetles and Larvae are one of the best feeders to purchase WITH your mantis egg case because if the ootheca (egg case) hatches early, at least you'll have something on hand until your flightless fruit flies arrive. Larvae are very small, slender and grub-like, measuring approximately 1/4 inch in length when fully grown.  The Rice Flour Beetle Culture lasts for months with no maintenance, so it will be on hand if the egg case hatches late or in case you run out of flies. Because the timing of the egg case can be unpredictable, many folks are caught off guard without food and their mantids end up starving. Order your food EARLY, and this won't happen to your nymphs.
