Ribbed Watch Cap: Striped Version Using Isager Alpaca 2

The Design “Stripey, slouchy, classic style.” With a free adaptation to our original pattern, we’ve added neat, narrow stripes to our Ribbed Watch Cap! This time-honored, close-fitting cap is a favorite Churchmouse Classic. The single rib texture exudes equal parts sailor savvy and skateboard cool! The tubular cast-on is nice and comfy and the nifty, mitred decreases make for a neat finish. And with a nice, deep cuff, it’s especially cozy! We chose Isager Alpaca 2 for this Ribbed Watch Cap for three reasons—alpaca, wool, and a fantastic color palette. The alpaca offers softness, drape, and a bit of haze, while the wool offers substance, strength, and bounce. In other words, perfection—a pleasure to knit with and even more pleasurable to wear!
