A large black plastic plug, ribbed, with neck, non-polarized. One really nice thing about this plug is that the insert at the bottom of the plug is black, not yellow like a lot of UL plugs. This plug can accommodate an Underwriter's knot inside it. Tying an Underwriter's knot, when there is room to do so, is always recommended. Please see our How To Wire a Plug page to see how to tie the knot. This plug easily accepts all of our wires including the 14-gauge pulley cord. Note that if you are going to use one of our three-conductor wires, you should clip the ground wire (the green one) on both ends of the wire.
