Ria Caramelized Platform Bed

Casual, modern and inviting, the retro-inspired Ria platform bed displays the natural grain of the sustainably sourced bamboo. Built to last, Ria’s sturdy frame is crafted in solid caramelized bamboo and bamboo veneers. Ria’s smooth panel headboard showcases extended posts and a beautifully finished back, so you can place this bed anywhere in your room. Ria’s footboard features round tapered legs finishing the streamlined frame.  Designed to be used with a mattress only, the Ria platform bed features a European slat system, which eliminates the need for a box spring, provides constant ventilation for your mattress, and gives generous space for storage under the bed frame. Greenington’s tough metal to metal connecting hardware withstands multiple bed assemblies with ease. Available in Queen and Eastern King sizes.  Light and bright, the Ria is shown in caramelized finish, no stain is used, the color is achieved through the process of caramelizing the natural sugars in the bamboo with earth friendly heat and pressure. Variation in grain and color enrich the natural beauty of bamboo furniture and make each piece unique. Slight differences in bamboo shade colors are signs that the furniture has been crafted from solid bamboo and is considered a benchmark of quality.  Made in an ISO 14001 Environment Management certified facility, your purchase of this environmentally friendly bamboo product helps support forests and ecosystems worldwide.
