Rhodochrosite Sphere

This striking sphere could be our new favorite mineral. The cool and hot pinks mingling with the stark contrast of black is just so perfect it's hard for us to accurately express our love for it. This beautiful sphere is Rhodochrosite. But what is it? Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral that ranges in color from light pink to bright red. It is found in a small number of locations worldwide where other manganese minerals are usually present. It's usually found in differing shades of pink with a few black veins crossing it's surface. The black is due to the presence of some form of manganese oxides. In any case, we're in love with it.  According to metaphysics: Rhodochrosite is a powerful love stone, known for its ability to heal the heart and restore emotional harmony. It also aids in connecting with the higher self, fostering compassion and understanding. Additionally, rhodochrosite is thought to assist in past life regression therapy, helping individuals heal from past experiences. All crystals and minerals vary slightly in size and shape.
