Instead of fouling your composter with loose carbon particles, Airthereal embeds a carbon filter inside the machine to help capture unpleasant odors from food waste. All filter consumables are made of biodegradable materials.   2-4 Hour Fast Cycle without any mess Natural composting can take several months, creates odor, and attracts pests like ants, fruit flies, and maggots. With a kitchen composter, the intelligent heating grinding system uses fine cutting blades to chop up large pieces of food waste and speed up the composting process at an optimal temperature. This can turn kitchen waste into soil amendments within 2-4 hours.   What are the Differences   Electric Kitchen Composter Compost Tumbler Garbage Disposal Convenient Indoor alternative outdoor Indoor alternative Size Small and sleek Bulky Moderate Odor Level Minimal odor Lots of odor Lots of odor Seasonality All Year Can’t use in winter All Year Green Living Uses minimal electricity and reduces garbage volume Produce a lot of methane Waste is sent to local water treatment plant  Noise Level Minimal No noise Extremely Loud Energy Consumption 1.60 kWh for 2L Disposal N/A 0.25/kWh on average   Specifications Model R500 Processing Cycles Drying, Grinding, Cooling Rated Voltage 120V, 60HZ Rated Power 500W max.
