Ingredients Simplified: Lavender • Not only is it often enjoyed as a soothing bedtime tea, but some research also supports that lavender could promote relaxation and enhance sleep quality. With its pleasant aroma, it is comforting in our sleep tea. Passionflower • Still used today to treat anxiety and insomnia. Scientists believe passionflower works by increasing levels of a chemical called gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. GABA lowers the activity of some brain cells, making you feel more relaxed. Goji Berries •  Contains a natural source (less tolerance build up) of melatonin, a hormone that helps regulate the sleeping and waking cycle. Wild Lettuce • A natural sedative that soothes your body as much as it relaxes it. Its calming effect is extremely helpful in preventing sleepless nights, promoting healthier sleep, and keeping restlessness at bay. We find this very important in our sleep tea, especially for those who might unknowingly wake up due to aches or pains. Pine Needle • Terpenes which is an essential oil component in pine needle tea are said to help you to have a better sleep. It is also effective for relaxing, refreshing, and relieving fatigue. Holy Basil • Has been used for thousands of years to support a healthy response to stress, aid in restoring natural sleep rhythms and calm an overactive mind.
