Resistance Dining Table, White Wash

The dining table is the most democratic piece in the home, gathering everyone around it, and this example gives that gathering the material weight it deserves. This generously sized dining table has been hand-carved of solid mahogany and enhanced with a hand-rubbed white wash finish. The construction combines solid wood with a clean white wash finish applied by hand — a process that ensures no two pieces are quite identical. The solid wood construction means this piece will develop character over years of use — its surface warming, its joints tightening, its presence deepening. At the heart of the dining room, it transforms everyday meals into memorable occasions. Pair with statement pendant lighting overhead and chairs in contrasting materials — leather, velvet, rattan — to build a richly layered tableau. SwayLiving furniture is designed in Los Angeles and made by artisans who work with reclaimed wood, hand-poured metal, and global textiles to create pieces that carry the story of their origins. SwayLiving, as an authorized SwayLiving dealer, is committed to delivering that story — and that quality — to your home.
